Hugo Carvana

  • Hugo Carvana is a very popular Brazilian actor, also nationwide recognized by his acting in many Brazilian TV soap opera. He acted in 80 films (Caca Diegues, Arnaldo Jabor, Rui Guerra are some of the directors he worked with) but his background as a moviemaker comes from early fifties musical comedies known as "chanchadas", that were very popular in Brazil, in which he started his career as an actor. Since the seventies years his films represent the most genuine spirits and costums of the those who were born and lived in Rio de Janeiro.
